JERUSALEM, May 2: Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Likud party on Sunday overwhelmingly rejected his plan to unilaterally withdraw from the Gaza Strip, according to exit polls.

Channel 10 said 58 percent of party members voted against the plan, while 42 per cent voted in favour. -AFP
