QUETTA, April 28: Non-bailable arrest warrants against former home minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri in a treason case were issued mistakenly, the Balochistan police chief said on Wednesday.
Inspector-General of Police Dr Shoaib Suddle said in reply to a question at a press conference that police officials during the investigation of an old case registered against some other man named Sanaullah for delivering an anti-government speech mistakenly added Zehri to the name.
"It is the mistake of investigation officer," he said and added that an inquiry was in progress in this connection.
