QUETTA, April 23: The provincial government has created 308 vacancies for medical officers and dental surgeon. A cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf , was informed here on Friday that 258 medical and 50 dental surgeon vacancies would be filled through Balochistan Public Service Commission.
The cabinet decided to provide official vehicle and residence to the leader of opposition in the Balochistan Assembly. The meeting reviewed the pace of work on annual development programme and law and order situation in Quetta and other parts of the province.
Finance Minister Syed Ehsan Shah informed the cabinet members of the progress made relating to the National Finance Commission award. The cabinet was informed that the Centre has allocated fund for the implementation of Gwadar Master Plan.
The meeting was informed that arrangements had been completed for the procurement of 200,000 tons of wheat through Pasco while procurement of 10,000 tons of wheat from Jhal Magsi was in progress. Mr Yousuf directed the authorities and secretaries concerned to accelerate the pace of development work in the province.
