DHAKA, April 11: Eight more deaths were reported on Sunday in seasonal storms in Bangladesh taking the toll to 14 in two days with as many as 200 others injured.

The eight were killed in different parts of Bangladesh late Friday and Saturday, officials and the Bengali-language daily Prothom Alo said.

It said 200 others were injured, mostly with deep cuts from flying debris, in the storms which caused widespread damage to homes and crops. -AFP
