THATTA, May 19: A huge pile of public documents relating to agricultural lands, revenue appeals, and other relevant departments are at stake as they are being kept in a lavatory and a room adjacent to it at the District Coordination Office since they were shifted from the Revenue Office, Kotri Barrage, Hyderabad, and Barrage Mukhtiarkar offices of Mirpur Sakro, Sujawal, and Thatta a couple of months ago.

The documents which were put at the disposal of the Mukhtiarkar include allotment orders, record of rights, transfer of farms, and revenue appeals.

There is every likelihood that the documents might be eaten up by rodents and attacked by silverfish and moths.

When this correspondent contacted the district officer, Revenue, Saleem Raza Khuhro, he said that the district Nazim and the district coordination officer (DCO) had been informed about it.
