Bomb blast in Quetta

QUETTA, March 22: A powerful bomb explosion rocked the town on Monday night causing great panic, police said.

The bomb exploded at Anscomb Road just behind the Chief Minister's House. However, no casualty or other damage was reported in the blast.

The bomb was planted near the wall of Dr Tahir Shah's residence shattering the windowpanes of the house and other nearby houses.

Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf informed the provincial assembly about the details of the explosion which was in session till late night.
