Tourists face Pakistan 'A' today

LAHORE, March 10: The touring Indian team will take on Pakistan 'A' in the a one-day practice match at the Qadhafi Stadium on Thursday. This is the only side match for the tourists before the five One-day Internationals and three Tests.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has fixed Rs75 tickets for the match. A private bank has been assigned the task to sell tickets. But there was no buyers when this reporter visited one of its branches.

Umpires Asad Rauf and Zamir Haider will supervise the match. Test opener Taufiq Umar will lead the Pakistan 'A' in the 50-overs-a-side fixture, which starts at 9.30am.
