KARACHI, March 3: The Semester Examination Section of the Karachi University on Wednesday announced that supplementary examination-2003, to be taken by the outgoing and former students of the varsity will commence from March 17.

All students, who are eligible as per KU rules, have been directed to submit their examination forms (duly attested by chairpersons) and fee up to March 13, at the counters specified by the Directorate of Finance. Examination forms and fee will be accepted from March 6 to March 11, with Rs200 per course, and from March 12 to 13, with Rs300 as late fee.

According to the eligibility criteria, the outgoing and ex-students having valid enrolments are eligible to appear in maximum of five papers as per rule, while the old students allowed by academic council as last chance in 2003, with re-enrolment and dean's permission, who have not been declared fail in more than five papers, are also eligible to appear in the examination. The KU's regular students are ineligible for this examination, the notification adds.

Dates Extended: The Examination Department, Karachi University, on Wednesday announced that the last date for submission of admission forms for First and Second, BA and BSc (Pass), Bcom and BSc (Home Economics) classes has been extended up to March 13, with Rs1,000 as late fee.
