PESHAWAR, Feb 27: NWFP Civil Secretariat Non-gazetted Employees Association Peshawar has urged the government to provide employees with interest-free loans from their benevolent fund.
It was stated in a press release issued by the association here on Friday. The association's general secretary Anwar Akbar said that employees had rejected the loan scheme as they were not in favour of usury.
The association urged the NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani to address their problems. The association has asked the NWFP government to provide its members with plots in the Regi model township, besides providing them with utility allowance and restoring posts in the secretariat.
The association would "go to any extent" if the government did not pay heed to their problems, the press release said.
