Half-centuries by Aamir and Usman

LAHORE, Feb 16: Half-centuries by Aamir Bashir and Usman Tariq helped Multan score 232 in their first innings against Sialkot on the first day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Aamir, who stood down as captain to allow Pakistan's skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq to lead the side in this match, hit an unbeaten 69 off 156 balls. Left-hander opener Tariq scored 53 off 116 balls.
