HYDERABAD, Feb 12: The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company announced on Thursday that during the month of January, the company had completed 124 programmes of electrification.

The project director construction Guftar Anjum said Dokrani and Jagir Singh villages in Shikarpur district were electrified at a cost of Rs629,921 under the Tamir-i-Pakistan programme.

Krishanabad village in Mirpurkhas taluka was electrified at a cost of Rs496,000 on the recommendation of Krishan Bheel. He said the village of MNA Arbab Zakaullah was electrified at a cost of Rs3,020,000.

Dera Barhamani village was electrified at a cost of Rs335,896 while Ahmed Babar, Laung Chohan, Vasil Noonari, Rasool Bux Jamali and Fateh Mohammad Chandio villages were electrified at a cost of Rs3,262,798.

He said in Ghotki district a village was electrified at a cost of Rs397,730 on the recommendation of MNA Khalid Lund. Similarly Mana Haru Bheel, Dhani Shar, Sirani Machhi and Ramzan Rajar villages were electrified in Mirpurkhas district under the Tamir-i-Sindh Programme at a cost of Rs10,331,000. Under the Khushhal Pakistan Programme 15 villages have been electrified at a cost of Rs6,355,055.
