MIRPURKHAS, Jan 15: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of party office-bearers and activists of Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah zones.
In his telephonic speech from London to Nawabshah and Mirpurkhas party office-bearers and activists on Thursday, he asked them to improve their performance.
He said he would only address gatherings in these zones after the party performance was improve there. The Muttahida chief advised activists to ponder over their weaknesses to improve their performance.
He said he advocated rights for the masses. He said the activists and office-bearers should change their behaviour with the people.
KHOKHRAPAR ROUTE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q's labour wing vice-president Syed Anwar Shah, city president Mohammad Ashraf and Ghulam Hussain Qureshi have welcomed the decision of the government to open the Khokhrapar route, saying it will be in the interest of the people of Sindh. In a press statement issued here on Thursday, they said with the opening of the route, the economy of Sindh would improve.
MARRIAGE CEREMONY: A ceremony of collective marriages will be held with Zakat funds at the circuit house here on Jan 17. This was said by District Zakat and Ushr Committee chairman Zakariya Ahmad Bawani while talking to journalists here on Thursday.
