ISLAMABAD, Jan 13: Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) chairman Akhtar Ahmad Bajwa on Tuesday said the telecom company should be prepared to meet the future challenges in a befitting manner.
The PTCL chairman was speaking at the concluding session of a two-day workshop on 'Creating the Future Together'. The aim of the workshop was to broaden the vision of the PTCL top management and prepare them for the challenges posed by the proposed deregulation of the telecom sector in the country.
Mr Bajwa highlighted the importance of the workshop and said the PTCL had to prepare itself for competition in the sector. The PTCL management has been organizing seminars, workshops and awareness campaigns in this regard, he added.
He appreciated the response of the company's top management to this workshop and congratulated them on the successful proceedings. Senior executive vice-presidents, executive vice-presidents, general managers, chief engineers and senior directors of the company were also present on the occasion.-APP
