KARACHI, Jan 13: Persons having attained 18 years of age on or before January 1, 2004, have been asked to get their names registered in the voters lists by obtaining forms from registration or assistant registration officers.

The applicants have been directed to acquire the date of their hearing on the time of submitting their forms, as the registration of names is to be decided by the reviewing authority, said a press release issued from the Deputy Election Commissioner, Karachi division, here on Tuesday.

The powers of the reviewing authority are delegated to the additional district judge, the civil judge, the senior civil judge and the judicial magistrate of the respective districts, so the applicants are advised to appear before the reviewing authority with necessary documents on the date given at the time of submitting their forms.-PPI
