National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Rector Syed Shujaat Hussain presided over the ceremony and awarded degrees in aerospace and avionics engineering.
He also awarded gold medals and merit certificate to the aviation cadets for academic distinctions.
Aviation Cadet (Sergeant) Kashif Mahmood won the president’s gold medal for his first position in aero-engineering. Gentleman Cadet Mohammad Tariq Younis won the president’s gold medal for first position in avionics engineering. Gentleman Cadet Naveed Masood received merit certificate for best aerospace vehicle design.
He urged the graduates to specialize in emerging technologies and acquire the latest knowledge and skills.
The graduating course, besides the PAF aviation cadets, comprised six cadets from army, one from Albanian Air Forces and eight civilians under the self finance scheme.
