NAWABSHAH, Jan 4: Cold wave has gripped different parts of Sindh including Nawabshah district. Residents of the city were forced to remain indoor as the temperature dropped to 4.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
Markets and roads of the city wore a deserted look in the evening and business was also affected. However, buying of warm clothing was on peak. When this correspondent contacted the casualty department of the People's Medical College Hospital, Dr Irshad Memon said that the ratio of ENT, chest and asthma patients had increased because of the cold weather.
KHAIRPUR: Two old mendied of severe cold on Saturday night in Rahuja village near Pir-jo-Goth. The deceased men were identified as Illahi Bakhsh Rahujo and Mooji Malik.
