KARACHI, Jan 23: Sindh Labor Minister Ameer Nawab Khan on Friday said the government would organise a tripartite conference soon to review issues of employers and employees in order to prepare recommendations to solve problems of workers on a priority basis.
Talking to industrialists and labour union leaders at his office, he said that the government had constituted a committee comprising three representatives each from the industrial sector, hotel management and the government to ensure provision of labour as per market demand.
The delegation said children of workers were deprived of education while over 2,000 factories in the area were regularly giving funds to the government for their education. They demanded establishment of a hospital and a dispensary in the area.—PPI
