KARAK, Jan 9: Police ceased a truck loaded with flour being smuggled to Afghanistan via the Gurguri-Tall road here on Friday. The driver was arrested.

Police sources said the truck apparently loaded with vegetables was stopped by the Terri Police at the Nasak Baba police checkpost and after search 645 bags of 20kg each were found beneath the vegetables.

It is learnt that flour smuggling to Afghanistan is again on the rise through different points along the border. —Correspondent
