KARACHI, Jan 6: Sahibdad Mohammadan edged past Golden Sports 1-0 in the All-Pakistan NBP Challenge Cup Football Tournament played at the Colony Sports Football Ground, Malir, on Tuesday.

The deadlock was broken after a barren first half by Sahibdad’s inside-right Mohammad Yasir in the 85th minute.

The match was supervised by Mohammad Zaheer Abbas (match commissioner), Sheikh Fayyaz (referee), Arif Hussain and Abdul Ghafoor (assistant referees).

Wednesday’s fixture: RCD Sports v Salar Mohammadan at 3.30pm.
