ISLAMABAD, Jan 6: Federal Minister for Postal Services Mir Israrullah Zehri here on Tuesday underlined the need for efficient human resources to resolve the problems being faced by people.

Chairing a high-level meeting at the ministry, the minister said the present government was committed to providing basic facilities to people. He said it had been decided that health cover would be ensured for the employees of postal department.

The minister said a new hospital would be established in district Khuzdar for the postal employees and the Postal Employees Hospital at Karachi would soon be made operational. Both the facilities, he said, would provide services not only to the employees of the Pakistan Post but also to general public.—Staff Reporter
