QUETTA, Jan 2: Activists of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl) held a rally here on Friday in protest against Israeli attacks on Gaza. The protesters called upon Islamic countries to unite against US occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan and Israeli brutalities in Palestine.

JUI-F’s provincial secretary Hafiz Hamdullah and Azizullah Khan Khliji criticised silence and inaction of Islamic countries over Israeli attacks on Gaza in which hundreds of Palestinians had been killed.

They said that neither the United States could suppress the resistance movements in Iraq and Afghanistan nor could Israel subdue the Palestinians with its brutalities.—Correspondent
