KARACHI, Dec 31: The Federal Sports Ministry has approved construction of country’s second cycling velodrome in Karachi, Sindh Sports Minister Dr Mohammad Ali Shah said on Wednesday.

He said details of the project were discussed in the Inter-provincial Sports Minister Committee meeting held on Tuesday.

Dr Shah added the Sindh government had already allocated two-and-a-half acre land for the purpose.

Country’s lone velodrome is in Lahore.—APP
