Quaid’s colleague is dead

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 25: Khan Muhammad Bhatti, a companion of father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, died on Thursday at the age of 108 years in village Sono Khan Bhatti near Kandiaro. Born in 1893, Mr Bhatti had joined Pakistan Muslim League in 1936. He was present at Minto Park, Lahore, when Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940. He also accompanied Mr Jinnah during his visits to Sindh and Balochistan. He was also close to Sir Haji Abdullah Haroon, Fazal-ul-Haq and Liaquat Ali Khan.

TWO INJURED: Two persons got seriously injured in a clash over possession of a place in the street in village Meero Khan Mastoi in Mithiani the other day.—Correspondent
