KARACHI, Dec 31: Asif Jooma, managing director Abbott Laboratories (Pakistan) Ltd.

has been unanimously elected as president of American Business Council of Pakistan (ABC) for the year 2009.

According to a press release Arif Usmani, managing director and City Country officer, Citibank, N.A. has been elected as vice-president.
