PESHAWAR: 15 hurt in gas cylinder blast

PESHAWAR, Dec 29: A liquefied petroleum gas cylinder exploded at a shop in Hashtnagri area here on Monday causing burn injuries to 15 people. The injured were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital. Two persons were reported seriously injured.

A police official said that the cylinder exploded due to leakage, at a shop located at Mohalla Hidayatullah in Firdus area of Hashtnagri. He said that the shop owner, Mohammad Ishaq, was filling the cylinder that it exploded all of a sudden causing burn injuries to two people who were sitting in the shop and 13 others who were coming from a nearby mosque. — Bureau Report
