PESHAWAR, Dec 28: NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani and NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti condemned the bomb blast at Shalbandi in Buner on Sunday and described it a cowardly act of terrorism. They also expressed their deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives.
The governor said that the incidence itself spoke about the barbaric and retrogressive mindset of the elements involved in the heinous crime, a handout issued here said. Owais Ahmed Ghani also described the incident as highly uncivilised and inhuman act and said that the elements involved in such crimes were in fact the enemies of religion and humanity and they were out to spread choas in society.
He appealed the people to maintain peace and cohesion in their ranks and foil the nefarious designs of the elements involved in such crimes. While extending fullest support to the people, the governor also said that efforts for the development, peace and stability of the country would continue.
NWFP Chief Minister Hoti, while expressing sympathy with the affected families pledged that the culprits would be brought to justice.
