PESHAWAR, Dec 22: Militants blew up a music centre in Dir Colony in Yakatut area here early Monday morning.

A police official said the explosion destroyed the building and other valuable items in the centre.

A bomb disposal squad official said militants had exploded a time bomb that was locally made and weighed about two kilograms.

A case was registered against unidentified people at the Yakatut police station under section ¾ of the Explosives Act and section 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
