Reserves rise

KARACHI, Dec 18: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves rose $245 million to $9,339.6 million in the week that ended on Dec 13, the central bank said on Thursday.

The State Bank of Pakistan’s reserves rose to $6,129.9 million from $5,915.9 million a week earlier, and reserves held by commercial banks were $3,209.7 million compared with $3,179.1 million.—Reuters
