He added that the minimum temperature on Tuesday was expected to range between 13 and 15 degrees centigrade. The met official said that a westerly low system was travelling from south-eastern Iran towards Pakistan and was expected to enter Balochistan on Dec 18. He added that it would cross over into India by Dec 20. In this period, rain was expected and it would be followed by a cold wave.
