GUJRANWALA, Dec 13: A young was killed and four others injured in a clash between two rival groups in Lohianwala village on Saturday.
Reports said Mehar and Butt groups, who had an old enmity, exchanged fire as a result of which a youth, Ashraf, was killed and four others injured.
Following the incident, police and a Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and took the injured persons to the DHQ Hospital.
POLICEMEN BOOKED: Civil Lines police on Saturday booked three policemen, including a sub-inspector, on charges of stealing petrol from a police filling station.
Reports said SI Naeem Qadir and constables Shakeel and Ilyas were performing duty at the police filling station. In the record, they showed that they had been filling petrol in a police vehicle which was reportedly found out of order.
On suspicion, an inquiry was conducted in which they were found guilty.
