GUJRANWALA, Dec 5: Enraged students of Jamki Chattha School threw traffic out of gear on Wazirabad Road and set a van on fire that crushed to death their fellow and injured another on Friday.

According to a report reaching here, Anwer was on the way to school by his bicycle along with his friend Imran when a speeding van hit them. As a result, Anwar died on the spot while Imran sustained serious injuries. He was admitted to the THQ Hospital in Wazirabad in a critical condition.

When the students of school came to know about the incident, they reached the spot, burnt the van and demanded immediate arrest of the driver.

They dispersed when senior police officers reached there and assured the protesting students that the bus crew would soon be arrested.—Correspondent
