LAHORE, Dec 2: A proclaimed offender was gunned down by ‘unidentified men’ at a filling station on Ravi Road on Tuesday.

Jameel from Sharaqpur tehsil’s Fatowala area was wanted to Sharaqpur police in six cases.

Ravi Road DSP Tahir Siddique said Ahmad might have been killed by his rivals. “He was standing at a filling station when unidentified men gunned him down and fled,” the DSP quoted a witness as saying.

The DSP said Ahmad had a Rs200,000 bounty on his head.
