SARGODHA, Dec 2: Four alleged highwaymen held at Jhal Chakian police station on a physical remand fled from the lock-up here on Tuesday.

Muhammad Iqbal, Ali Shah, Ajmal and Iqbal fled after unlocking the lock-up through a duplicate key.

The district police officer suspended the police station staff and ordered a case against them.

Police were raiding the houses of relatives of the accused who are from Bhalwal and Satellite Town Sargodha.
