NOWSHERA, Nov 30: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani called chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Maulana Samiul Haq on Sunday and invited him to participate in the national security conference convened by the government on Tuesday in the backdrop of Indian threats to Pakistan after Mumbai attacks.

The JUI chief told Dawn that the prime minister called him twice and invited him to the conference.
