RAWALPINDI, Nov 24: Tehrik Nifaz Fiqh-i-Jafariya (TNFJ) has said that US bombing in the NWFP is an attack on the independence and freedom of Pakistan and called upon the United Nations (UN) to take immediate notice of the issue.

According to the Tehrik’s spokesman Syed Qamar Zaidi, a number of resolutions on important national and international issues were adopted during the two-day high-level meeting of the TNFJ which was presided over by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

One of the resolutions said if the United Nations did not take any step in stopping these attacks then they would be right to understand that it was not a representative organisation of the world nations rather it was subservient to colonial powers.

The resolution asked the US to respect the resolutions adopted by Pakistans parliament.

Another resolution made it clear that Pakistan did not belong to any school of thought or group, therefore, ideological representation on the basis of equality should be given to recognised schools of thought in all state organs including media.

The meeting called upon the rulers and politicians to bring back their money to the motherland in order to end the ongoing economic crisis and make their assets public. It also condemned the unending incidents of terrorism in the country.

The participants of the meeting demanded of the government to form a high-level tribunal to probe into the incidents of terrorism that had taken place all over the country including Dera Ismail Khan.
