WANA, Nov 24: About 46 orphan students belonging to Wana sub-division of South Waziristan Agency were admitted to Ummah Children Academy, Nowshera, to get free education, said a press release issued here on Monday.
According to the release all the orphans were granted admissions in junior classes. Charges of the orphan students including boarding, mess, tuition fees, uniforms, books, stationary and transportation would be borne by Ummah Welfare Trust. The trust extended this facility to the orphan students on the request of Wana Welfare Association.
The children were brought to Nowshera from Wana by joint secretary of association Khan Saeed and members Imran and Kaleemullah. The students were selected through a test among many orphans in Wana.Wana Welfare Association president Mushtaq Wazir said that it was a great achievement of the association to provide free education to orphans of the area. He hoped that they would achieve greater goals in the future.
