ISLAMABAD, Nov 23: A man was shot dead by his rivals over a monetary dispute, police said here on Sunday.

Nadeem Imran was intercepted by his rivals with whom he had monetary dispute at Sara-i-Qarboza.

A brief scuffle took place between them after which one of his rivals pulled out a 30-bore pistol and opened fire on Nadeem. The accused managed to escape from the scene.

On hearing the gunshot people from the nearby areas rushed to the spot and found Nadeem lying in a pool of blood. He was shifted to the hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.
