ISLAMABAD, May 11: The district administration and capital police have chalked out a plan to make foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of annual Urs of Hazrat Bari Imam (RA) which will commence from June 2.

A meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner and director Auqaf Department, Tariq Mahmood Khan, reviewed the security and other arrangements.

On this occasion, the Auqaf Department has made special arrangements to facilitate the devotees coming from far-flung areas to participate in the Urs.

At least 200 Degs (cauldron) of fried and sweet rice will be cooked daily during the days of the Urs.

As per programme, Rasum-e-Ghusal Mubarak will be performed on June 1 after Asar prayer and Rasum-e- Chadar Poshi will be held on June 2 after Asar prayer.—APP
