MULTAN, Nov 15: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said there is no question about the sincerity of tribesmen and only a handful of foreign terrorists, including Saudis, Afghanis, Uzbeks and Chechens, are responsible for turbulence in the country.

Talking to reporters at Multan airport on Saturday, the prime minister said Qazi Husain Ahmad had no right to criticise the government as the Jamaat-i-Islami had boycotted the elections.

Regarding the US predator attacks inside Pakistan’s territory, he said the difficult time would come to an end after Barack Obama assumed his office.

The prime minister said the bureaucracy was fully cooperating with the government in implementing its policies, and the economy would back on track within few months.

The prime minister said the positive criticism from the opposition was a healthy sign while the coalition government of the PPP and the PML-N in Punjab was going on smoothly.

He said the PML-N could hold talks with PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari if it wanted that the PPP quit the coalition in Punjab.

Mr Gilani said President Zardari had asked the parliament to constitute a committee for repealing 17th Amendment and Article 58 (2)b, but the committee was still not formed.
