QUETTA, Nov 15: Quetta’s rail link with other parts of the country was cut off on Saturday night after a part of the main railway line was blown up near the Musa Colony on Saturday.

Police said the explosive device was planted under the track.

Railway officials said a two-foot-long portion of the track was damaged.

Sources said the repair work would start after security clearance on Sunday.

Railway traffic will remain suspended and all Quetta-bound trains coming from Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi will be stopped at Sibi and other stations.
