India releases 27 Pakistanis

LAHORE, Nov 14: Twenty-seven Pakistani prisoners, who have been released by India, arrived here on Friday through the Wagah border. There are two women among them.

Most of the prisoners were found to be suffering from mental stress. They have been languishing in Indian jails for many years and one of them for 21 years. They had been arrested on charges of overstaying their visa or inadvertently crossing the border.—APP
