LAHORE, Nov 12: The nine divisional commissioners were given a strong reminder of their immense responsibilities by Chief Secretary Javaid Mehmood who hosted a dinner for them at his residence here on Wednesday.

The dinner was attended by the provincial bureaucracy whom the beaming chief secretary reportedly reminded that institutions never die while he was mentioning the restoration of the office of the divisional commissioner abolished seven years ago.

Sources said the chief secretary gifted carpets to the divisional commissioners. — Intikhab Hanif
