Newsman’s widow dies

HYDERABAD, Nov 11: Begum Qamar, the widow of late Qamaruzzaman Khan, the first district correspondent of daily Dawn at Hyderabad who had been associated with this newspaper for over 40 years, died here on Tuesday after protracted illness. She was 78.

She leaves behind four sons and three daughters.

She was laid to rest in GOR colony graveyard.
