KARACHI, Nov 10: A meeting of the Dawn Unit of Karachi Union of Journalists held on Monday condoled the death of Mr Mahmoud A. Haroon, veteran politician and chairman of the Dawn Media Group.

The meeting eulogised Mr Mahmoud Haroon’s services for the country, especially the province of Sindh and for making Dawn a leading newspaper, respected for its editorial independence and credibility.

The meeting also praised Mr Mahmoud Haroon for looking after the interests of the employees of the Dawn Group of Newspapers.
