ISLAMABAD, Nov 9: The city police have seized large amount liquor during a raid at a house located at F-8/1, police said here on Sunday.

According to the police, a police patrolling party spotted two vehicles coming out of the house and their drivers acting suspiciously. On seeing the police, the drivers escaped from the scene leaving behind the vehicles on the road.

During search of the vehicles, 117 bottles and canes of liquor were recovered. The police found more 168 bottles of liquor when they searched the house.
