GUJAR KHAN, Nov 6: A child on Wednesday died of suffocation when his father tried to muffle his cries in village Kak.

Rubina Bibi was married to Waheed Ahmed in the Kak village over nine years ago and they had a three-year-old son Abdul Ghafoor.

According to Rubina Bibi, the minor got up late on Wednesday night and started crying, which woke up her husband who took the baby and pressed his throat hard killing him on the spot.
