LAHORE, Nov 6: The Punjab government has decided to constitute an 11-member working group for presenting its stance in the National Finance Commission (NFC).
Presiding over a meeting here on Thursday, Punjab Finance and Planning Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira said economists and professionals from the private sector would also be included in the working group to be headed by him.
He said a summary for the constitution of the group had been prepared for chief minister’s approval. He said the group would formulate recommendations on the stance to be adopted by the Punjab government in NFC. He said one member of the Punjab Assembly from all three political parties -- PPP, PML-N and PML-Q -- would also be included in the working group.
