LAHORE, Nov 5: Pakistan Cricket Board in an effort to spot talented women cricketers from all over the country will hold trials in different cities from Nov 18 to 26.
The trails in Lahore will be held at Kinnaird College, for Women on Nov 18 and 19 in which Aaqib Javed and
Ijaz Ahmed will be the two selectors.
Girls from Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan are eligible to appear at these trials. The Regional Academy, National Stadium will host the Karachi trials on Nov 21 and 22 in which girls from Karachi and Hyderabad can participate.
Tauseef Ahmad and Shoaib Mohammad will officiate as selectors.
Tauseef and Shoaib will also be selectors at Bugti Stadium, Quetta where the trails will be held on Nov 24.
Similarly, two-day trials at Diamond Cricket Ground, Islamabad are scheduled on Nov 25 and 26 for women from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Abbotabad regions.
Aaqib and Ijaz will be the selectors.
The best players will be picked for further grooming as back-up players for the national women’s team.
