ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: Umar Amin stroked an undefeated 76 to guide Federal Areas to a four-wicket victory against Punjab in the Pentangular Cup match at the Diamond Club Ground on Monday.

Federal Areas looked in some bother when they resumed at 127 for four in pursuit of 238 runs with Bazid Khan uncertain to bat after sustaining a serious hand injury in the first innings.

But Umar, who struck nine boundaries, and Yasir Arafat ensured there were no further alarms as they shared a match-winning stand of 74 for the fifth wicket. Yasir scored 33.

Paceman Mohammad Talha finished with four for 96.
