The retired teacher has appealed for justice and asked for constituting an inquiry committee headed by Mr Justice Amir Muslim Hani to investigate the matter.

APPEAL: A man has appealed to authorities to get back truck as per court orders.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Tuesday, Anwar Zaman s/o Ashraf Zaman of Quaid-e-Azam Colony, Unit No. 11 Latifabad, said that a Mazda loading truck No (AH-0168) registered in the name of his father had falsely been transferred in the name of the driver Javed Ahmed in connivance with the officials in Excise Department.

He said that police registered an FIR on December 4, 2006, at A-section police station Latifabad on the intervention of Sindh High Court.

Police arrested the accused but later released him without recovering the truck on the intervention of a high-up.

He said that he got the case transferred to the Crime Branch, wherein the accused was again arrested along with the recovery of truck from Rawalpindi.

He appealed to higher authorities to direct police to give back his truck.
